Niall Horan Is Taking A Break After His World Tour Ends

Niall Horan‘s pretty much been going ever since his debut album, Flicker, debuted, and now, he’s ready for a little break.

Over the weekend, the 24-year-old “Slow Hands” singer revealed at his annual Horan & Rose Charity Fundraiser that he will be taking a break after his world tour wraps up.

“Having the band there is great so in the soundchecks we will jam out something and see what happens,” he says, speaking the downtimes he has with his band. “Nothing has really come yet. When I’m on tour I get into such a routine. And when you’re writing songs I feel like that needs to be 100 percent your focus.”

While he enjoys those, Niall feels that he needs to have 100% focus for his next album.

“So I’m going to take a couple of months off after the tour, which finishes in September,” he says. “Then I’ll just write until I’ve got good tunes. I’m not coming back until I do.”

Niall adds, “I find that the slower songs come more naturally for me. I would like to create a bit more of the up-tempo stuff and try to cement my sound. That’s something to work on.”
