David Henrie is heading behind the camera to direct his first, full-length feature film!
The 28-year-old entertainer will head behind the camera on This Is The Year, a screenplay which he also wrote with Bug Hall, Pepe Portillo and Sienna Aqualini.
THR reports that the flick centers on “a nebbish high school senior and his best friends as they embark on a road trip to attend the greatest music festival of the year in a last-ditch effort to win over the girl of his dreams.”
Sounds like the kind of movie that we’d absolutely love!
“Been waiting to announce this for a very long time!!!” David exclaimed on Instagram this morning. “It’s a dream come to getting to write and direct a movie for young adults and teens everywhere that will truly MEAN something to them!”
This Is The Year is set to start filming in September in Alabama.
