Katie Stevens Shared Her Engagement Story To Paul DiGiovanni & It's So Romantic!

Katie Stevens kept her engagement to musician Paul DiGiovanni secret for quite a while, but now that the news is out, she is sharing all of it!

The 25-year-old Bold Type actress opened up during her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers about how the proposal actually went down and fair warning – it’s mega-romantic.

Turns out that Katie had planned a trip to Switzerland with Paul over the New Year’s Eve holiday and the two had taken a hike to a lake in the Alps Mountain Range.

“For the past four and a half years, I have dropped not so subtle hints that I wanted him to ask. He used to say things like ‘I’m gonna marry you someday’ and I’d say ‘you’re gonna marry me on Sunday,” Katie explained. “He asked me what day it was and it was Sunday.”

She continued, “Three years ago, he wrote me a stack of letters for me to open whenever we’re apart…one letter said ‘Do not open until I say so’, and this is the letter he pulled out at the lake and it said ‘Katie, marry me?’”
