Madison Beer Reflects On Being The Only Female Artist On Charts Without A Major Music Label

Madison Beer shares a few laughs with her friends while out to lunch in Los Angeles on Thursday (August 16).

The 19-year-old singer chatted to ET recently about how fans got her single “Home With You” to chart, which makes her the only female solo artist on the charts without a major music label.

“I want to be role model for people to be like, ‘I don’t need a major label to be a successful artist and to have a successful song,’” Madison shared. “I just want to show everyone that you could really do it yourself. It’s important to drive your own ship and it’s your career so you might as well take it by the reins.”

She adds that in her world, her fans control everything about her music.

“They are the ones who decide what songs get to be the single, they are the ones what video gets to be made and I just listen to them all the time.”
