Camila Cabello Reflects On Playing Her Hometown Show in Miami: 'Life Is Crazy'

Camila Cabello was having a lot of feelings after playing her hometown during the Reputation Tour over the weekend – but they were good feelings.

In a new Instagram post, the 21-year-old “Havana” singer reflected on the concert and how it felt having her friends and family watching her up on stage.

“Last night was the Miami show on the reputation tour, and it’s the first time I’ve performed in my hometown this year,” Camila started out. “You guys took my breath away, @taylorswift made me cry, and it was a night I’ll never forget.”

She continues, “I’ve lived in the same city since I was 6 years old and I’m never leaving because I love Miami so much. My whole family was there last night, and like I said on stage I can’t imagine how weird it must be for them realizing that the same girl who didn’t want anybody to look at her, who waited for her parents to go to Publix to sing in her room, who made her grandma stand in the closet and close her eyes while she played guitar and sang to her from the other side of the door, that same girl who didn’t want anybody to look at her is suddenly telling her most intimate stories to a stadium of 64,000 people.”

“Not to mention she’s opening for the person whose poster she had on her wall that made her wanna write about love in the first place,” Camila added, pointing out her tour mate Taylor. “Life is crazy and nights like that remind me anything is possible when you decide to be brave.”
