Sabrina Carpenter Dishes On How She Balances Being Both A Musician & Actress

One of the questions that Sabrina Carpenter gets a lot is how she balances both acting and music.

In her interview with Billboard over the weekend, the 19-year-old “Almost Love” singer revealed her secret – she doesn’t think about the other while on a project.

“If you really love what you’re doing, then you want to give 100% on each thing,” she shared. “It’s just about separating them and thinking about them as a singular thing.”

Sabrina continues, “For me, when I was recording the album and writing the album, my head wasn’t in a place of, ‘Oh, I’m playing this character,’ and vice versa, when I’m on set, I’m playing a character and I’m not thinking about music and mixes, as much as I want to.”

“You take it day by day, and you give yourself a pat on the back and reward yourself for the little things along the way.”
