Fans Are a Little Worked Up Over 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' Hot Tub Scene

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before has been the talk of the town, but fans have heavily pointed out another plot hole.

In the movie, starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, Lara Jean gets in the hot tub with Peter for their make out sesh, fully submerging her nightgown in the water. But after she gets out and gets into bed, in the next clip, her nightgown is completely dry.

“The only thing I don’t understand about To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is how Lara Jean gets into bed still wearing that wet nightgown someone help #TATBILB,” one fan wrote in all caps.

“The fact that Lara Jean goes in the hot tub in that nightgown and then it’s dry by the time she gets upstairs and then then she sleeps in it makes To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before unwatchable fight me,” adds another.

“OKAY but how is Lara Jean’s nightgown magically not dripping wet when they come in from the hot tub. The hot tub in which she wore her nightgown,” writes another fan.

So how?! How does Lara Jean’s night gown get so dry that quickly? We all need answers!

I think when Lara Jean came back to her room and we see her nightgown dry, I think what happened was when they made out in the hot tub it was probably early evening like 6 or 7, and after that they probably spent many hours together before going back to their rooms, and during that time, her nightgown dried. I don’t know though. It’s just a guess. That was something I was wondering about, too.
