'The Flash' Intros Cicada On Tonight's Episode: 'It's A Really Dark Episode'

Danielle Panabaker is opening up all about the new villain, Cicada, on The Flash and tonight, we get to learn more about him.

“It’s actually a really dark episode,” the actress shared with EW. “Some scary stuff happens to some members of Team Flash, so it’s a tough one for sure. I think this villain is pretty scary, so it’s nice to see.”

The episode will focus on Barry (Grant Gustin) helping his daughter, Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy), become a better speedster, all while Team Flash also track down a meta stealing high-tech weapons.

It’s then they cross paths with Cicada (Chris Klein), who is hunting the very same meta with nefarious intent.

“There’s so much unknown about him,” Danielle added. “We’re trying to figure out his motivation, and he is pretty vicious. That’s what I think is the most scary: How far he is willing to go.”

The Flash airs TONIGHT, Tuesday, October 16th @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.
