Would Paul Wesley Ever Return as Stefan Salvatore for 'Legacies'? Here's What He Says

At the end of Vampire Diaires, Stefan Salvatore sacrificed his life for his brother Damon, so there’s no possible way he could come back to life on Legacies, right?

Well, we mean, Danielle Campbell‘s Originals character, Davina, DID come back to that show – so anything really is possible.

However, Paul Wesley isn’t really feeling a return for the third series of the franchise.

“Absolutely, 100 percent not. Stefan is forever dead,” he told TV Guide.

Danielle, though, is up for a possible return: “I will forever love my vampire-werewolf-witch family,” she shared. “They’re always so dear and near to me and I love Julie [Plec] to death.”

Stars Danielle Rose Russell, Matthew Davis and Kaylee Bryant also opened up about the characters they’d love to see return in one way or another.

For Danielle, it would be dad Klaus and Matthew picked Katherine Pierce or Damon.

For Kaylee, it would be Bonnie, played by Kat Graham.

“I just feel like Bonnie, throughout The Vampire Diaries, was in a similar vein [as Josie],” she shared. “Just constantly doing the spell to get everyone out of that situation and looking after all of her friends, and I just feel like they could hang out over a good cup of tea and just talk about life.”

Legacies premieres TONIGHT, October 25th on The CW.
