Cameron Dallas‘s brand-new song “Why Haven’t I Met You?” is finally here!

The actor and singer released his major label debut single on Friday (October 26).

“I gotta stay cautious … Waiting for your love, wishing it was that simple,” he sings.

The music video features Cameron as he spends time with a love interest at a gorgeous home, in the car, and outside in a lush green field. (There’s also a cute dog and a not-so-cute spider.)

“I’m excited to share this newest journey with all of you,” he shared on Instagram along with a behind-the-scenes video. “This moment has been a long time coming. Friday, I’ll be putting out my first official song and music video – Why Haven’t I Met You? I love you all and thank you for sticking around with me.”
