Noah Centineo Reveals His Major Setback After Moving to LA
Noah Centineo on The Hollywood Reporter‘s Next Generation issue, available now.
The 22-year-old actor opened up about his breakout roles, moving to LA and school. Check it:
On playing love interests in both his break-out roles: “Everything that I’m doing right now, everything that I have done or everything I have lined up are stepping stones. I’m not anywhere near where I want to be…I love love.”
On his set back after moving to LA at 16: “I had this six-month contract that didn’t allow me to audition for anything [else]. My purpose was just to act, and you take away someone’s purpose and you kind of deteriorate them.”
On deciding to leave public school: “I was like, I’ve got a callback for Lab Rats so I’m not going to go to History. I’m going to f**kin’ meet the producer. Truancy got involved…I moved across the country to become an actor, not an academic type. I know myself, I’m not gonna be a mathematician or a professor.”
