Sharna Burgess Thinks 'DWTS's Break Will Be Good For The Show & Fans

Sharna Burgess is the first pro dancer to open up about the long break Dancing With The Stars will be taking next year.

If you didn’t hear, the show won’t be returning for the spring season, but there are plans to return in the fall.

“I think it will be good for fans to miss us for a little second,” she shared in an interview with ET. “There was a lot of Dancing with the Stars in 2018, with the tour and Juniors, the athlete season, and then the full season.

Sharna adds, “I think it will be really good for us [the dancers] to have a little breather and come back and do an amazing fall season. I think they’re still talking about Juniors [too]. But don’t quote me on that.”

While she wasn’t a mentor on the first season, Sharna still loved the show: ‘It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I hope they do it again.”

Sharna also says she’s coming back for the next season, too.

“I’m looking for a back to back win now.”
