Debby Ryan Remembers How Miley Cyrus Once Stood Up For Her on Disney Set

Miley Cyrus has always been a role model, especially to those around her, including Debby Ryan.

While appearing on actor Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert, the 25-year-old actress revealed how she was a fan of Miley’s career and when she got the chance to work with her on a crossover event, Miley actually stood up for Debby behind the scenes.

“We had a crossover [episode of our shows]. She was awesome, she’s so good. She would just constantly be like ‘I don’t know, I just saw this animal that needs a home.’ She just has the biggest heart, such a capacity to love and knows who she is,” Debby remembered.

She continues, remembering that “she came in and saw my friends now, [but] who at the time were just absolutely roasting me and not nice to me, she saw them doing that and literally stepped in and was like ‘Don’t talk to her like that! You don’t have to let them talk to you like that.’”
