Ariana Grande FaceTimes With Estranged Dad For Christmas

Ariana Grande and her estranged father shared a sweet moment on Christmas.

The 25-year-old songstress took to her Instagram document a FaceTimed call with dad Edward Butera.

Ariana‘s parents split when she was just eight-years-old and she has since had a complicated relationship with him.

She has spoken out about her father in both interview and songs, most recently mentioning him in hit “Thank U, Next.”

“One day I’ll walk down the aisle, holding hands with my mama, I’ll be thanking my dad ’cause she grew from the drama,” Ariana sings.

Back in 2014, Ariana said the relationship was “one of the hardest things” she’d had to deal with but she embraced ” the fact that that I am made up of half my dad, and a lot of my traits come from him…I had to accept that it’s okay not to get along with somebody and still love them.”

We’re glad to see that Ariana and her dad look like they are now on better terms!
