Darci Lynne Farmer Compares 'America's Got Talent: The Champions' to 'Hunger Games!'

Darci Lynne Farmer says the upcoming reality TV spin-off series America’s Got Talent: The Champions is like The Hunger Games!

The ventriloquist and winner of season 12 of America’s Got Talent opened up about her new show in a recent interview with Parade.

“The Champions is a new show,” she explained. “It’s where contestants from all over the world, like from Britain’s Got Talent or Spain’s Got Talent, we all come together and compete against each other. So, it’s basically the Olympics of AGT, but it’s a really tough competition. It’s the best of the best.”

“Yes, [every night is like the finale of the season that I was on],” she added. “If you’ve ever seen the Hunger Games movies, it’s like the Quarter Quell, where all the winners come back and they fight to the death.”

America’s Got Talent: The Champions is set to premiere on January 7 on NBC!
