Troye Sivan Reveals His Date for the Golden Globes!
2018 was a huge year for Troye Sivan, not only because of his music, but also because of his work with the movie Boy Erased!
The 23-year-old singer and actor was honored with the Creative Conscience in Film Award at Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch Brunch during the 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival on Friday (January 4) in Palm Springs, Calif.
“It’s really, really cool. I think the switch up for me this year, well I guess last year now, has been a really, really fun adventure and challenge. This all feels so fresh all over again,” Troye said. “I’m having a really good time.”
Troye is nominated for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes this weekend for “Revelation” from Boy Erased.
“It’s nuts. I brought my sister from Australia and we’re going to the Globes on Sunday. This is the kind of thing that we have watched since we were kids and dreamed about being here. We’re just going to have a really good time,” he added.
