Becky G Reacts To Her Seven Nominations For Premio Lo Nuestro 2019

Congrats to Becky G – she woke up to find out she’s been nominated for SEVEN awards at 2019 Premio Lo Nuestro!

The 21-year-old singer headed to Instagram, sharing her shock and thanks with her fans.

“A dream turned into reality. I have no words. I’m in shock. Thank you!!!” Becky wrote. “Thanks to the fans who support me so much.”

Becky continued, opening up about her fear of recording in Spanish, not knowing if the Latin community would accept her as much as they did.

“With a lot of work, with lots of love, with wanting to keep improving, we have readed where we are and that’s why I feel so proud,” she added.

Becky picked up a nomination for Female Urban Artist of the Year; two nominations for Remix of the Year for “Dura (Remix)” and “Mi Mala (Remix)”; Urban Song of the Year: “Dura (Remix)” and “Sin Pijama”; and Urban Collaboration of the Year for “Dura (Remix)”.

What!!!! Un sueño convertido en realidad. No tengo palabras. Estoy en shock. GRACIAS!!! Gracias a Diosito, este año tenemos 7 nominaciones. Gracias a los fans que me apoyan tanto. Desde niña yo soñaba en cantar musica en español como muchas de mis artistas favoritas. Pero, también era mi gran miedo. No saber si el mundo de la música latina me iba a aceptar como una de ellos. Cada año que ha pasado desde que empezamos mi proyecto en español seguimos creciendo. Cada año más sueños han llegado a ser realidad. Con mucho trabajo, con mucho amor, con mucho querer seguir mejorando, hemos llegado a donde estamos y por eso me siento tan orgullosa y tan feliz. Gracias, Especialmente a mis compañeros que me han inspirado tanto. Ustedes siempre me han apoyado con mi español y canciones. Ustedes siempre me han dado oportunidades para crecer y aprender sin sentirme juzgada.
