Anna Cathcart and the cast of Zoe Valentine are opening up about their new show in a new featurette.

Zoe Valentine centers the title character, a high school freshman whose older sister, Cleo, dies from cancer and propels her into the spotlight.

“All of the sudden her sister’s friends, who are popular and cool, start saying hi to her and noticing her,” Anna explains of Zoe’s situation.

She continues, “She doesn’t really know how to feel about it…like anyone my age, we’re all just trying to figure things out about who we are.”
