Nick Jonas Says Jonas Brothers Comeback Single 'Sucker' Had To Grow On Him

We’ve all had a chance to listen to Jonas Brothers‘ comeback single, “Sucker”, and put the music video on repeat for the past few days – and for Nick Jonas, it took just as long for him to like it.

Speaking with Music Choice, the 26-year-old opened up about what he thought when he first heard the song.

“I think we’ve all had different reactions to the song and mine was that it had to grow on me,” Nick shared. “The beat, which became the thing that I love the most, was at first the thing that was most alarming.”

He continues, “It’s so in your face and a punk-rock influence, but it’s said over these melodies that are more soul vibing and it leaves room for Joe to shine with his pop rock vocals. It hit all the things in the song that I knew we needed to hit, but that first listen was in your face and I wasn’t quite prepared for that.”

Ultimately thought, the song grew on him.
