Sephora Drops Olivia Jade Partnership Amid College Scandal
It looks like it’s probably going to be more difficult for Olivia Jade to find work in the future as she has lost a major partnership amid the fallout from the national college admissions scandal.
The 19-year-old influencer’s parents were among the dozens of people arrested for allegedly being part of a giant scam to get their kids admitted to top colleges around the country.
Olivia‘s parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli were both arrested this week and accused of paying $500,000 to get their two daughters accepted into USC.
The Giannullis allegedly bribed sports recruiters to have their daughters accepted into the school as crew athletes, even though they didn’t play the sport.
Olivia launched a collaboration with Sephora back in December, but now the company has discontinued sales of the collection.
“After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately,” a rep for the company said in a statement.
