The “Sorry Not Sorry” crooner showed off the new ‘do on Instagram on Friday (April 12).

“New hair wassupppp 💇🏻‍♀️🤑👾,” she captioned the slideshow below.

Demi‘s longtime hairstylist Amber Maynard Bolt completed her hair transformation at Nine Zero One salon.

“I cut about 4/5 inches off her hair!” Amber told People about the darker, shorter bob. “It was a great way to release old energy as well as old color. My favorite part about cutting someone’s hair off is their reaction! Hers was a good one. She was really feeling it.”

“What inspired the cut simply was change! ” Amber added. “She’s a hair chameleon.”
