Kelsea Ballerini Didn't Think She'd Join The Grand Ole Opry This Early

Kelsea Ballerini is officially a member of the Grand Ole Opry!

Being only 25, this makes Kelsea the youngest member of the exclusive group, and her induction happened only four years after her first performance at the venue.

“I didn’t think it would be four years later,” Kelsea shared with press. “I thought it would be like 42. I’m so new. I’m such a baby artist and to be able to play this stage once is a dream. But to know that I can play this stage in 30 years when radio quits me and touring quits me, it’s really comforting,” she added, tears streaming down her face.

Carrie Underwood introduced Kelsea as the newest member for the event, and together, they performed Trisha Yearwood’s signature hit “Walkaway Joe”.

Kelsea also performed “Peter Pan” and covered “In Between.”
