OlderElle Fanning Will Be a Cannes Jury Member!
This is such exciting news for Elle Fanning!
The 21-year-old actress will be a member of the jury for the upcoming 2019 Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off in mid-May.
Birdman and The Revanant director Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu is the jury president this year and he will be joined by Elle and Oscar-nominated filmmakers Yorgos Lanthimos (The Favourite) and Pawel Pawlikowski (Cold War).
“The Cannes’ Jury is invited to see films directed by the greatest filmmakers of our time – which is the case again this year. Everyone of the directors being part of the competition also has to know they will be considered by strong artists – which is also the case!” Cannes president Pierre Lescure and artistic director Thierry Frémaux said in a statement.
We can’t wait to see all of Elle‘s fashion during the festival!
