Dove Cameron Had a Hand In Writing The Plot of 'Descendants 3'

Dove Cameron should probably be getting a writing credit in Descendants 3.

Speaking with Access over the past weekend, the 23-year-old actress revealed that she was in on the first ideas for writing the plot of the upcoming DCOM – and there were multiple ideas.

“They were workshopping a couple different ideas for the third film – and it’s great, because being around for so long, I get to be a part of those conversations,” Dove shared.

She added, “I saw it [start at] one thing that was like a totally different plot. They wrote the whole script and then came back to the drawing board.”

And if you’re wondering, yes, she knows exactly who Mal’s dad is.

“I knew who my dad was; I knew that from the jump,” Dove dished. It’s amazing to be part of the behind-the-scenes stuff. That’s my favorite part.”
