James Charles & Lilly Singh Step Out in Statement Looks at Met Gala 2019

James Charles makes a glittery statement in an Alexander Wang top while arriving at the 2019 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

The beauty influencer shared his thanks for being able to attend his first ball on Instagram later on.

“Thank you so much @youtube for inviting me and @alexanderwangny for dressing me! 💕” he wrote. “Being invited to such an important event like the ball is such an honor and a step forward in the right direction for influencer representation in the media and I am so excited to be a catalyst.”

Later on, James was seen at the Moschino‘s Met Gala After Party.

Fellow influencer Lilly Singh was also seen at the Met Gala in a gorgeous purple gown.

FYI: Lilly wore a fuchsia dégradé organza flower gown with multi-petal skirt, petal bustier, and cinched waist Moschino gown with Mindi Mond, Le Vain and José María Goñi jewels. James is wearing Alexander Wang.
