Joe Jonas Blames Sophie Turner for Coffee Cup Error on 'Game of Thrones'

Joe Jonas is chiming in on that viral coffee cup mistake on Game of Thrones and he’s placing blame on his wife Sophie Turner!

If you didn’t know, a coffee cup was seen sitting on a table during the feast scene in the latest episode of the HBO series. It shouldn’t have been there though.

Sophie was shown a video filmed by Joe while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday (May 10) in New York City.

“Let’s clear this up!” Sophie said after she was accused of placing the cup in the scene. “We all have the same cups for all of our water and tea and everything. So I’m going to just go with, I mean, look who it’s placed in front of… Emilia Clarke, she’s the culprit!”

Jimmy asked if the cast talked about the incident.

She said, “There was just one text and it was from Nikolaj [Coster-Waldau], who plays Jaime Lannister, and he just wrote, ‘Great episode. Was that a coffee cup?’”
