Charles Melton Started Acting Because of a Radio Advertisement

Charles Melton began his career thanks to a radio advertisement!

The 28-year-old Riverdale actor opened up about the experience during an appearance on the Late Late Show.

“It was one of those talent showcases that you pay money to go to…I was on my way to football practice and they were like, ‘Do you want to be a star?’ And I was like, ‘Yes!’” Charles explained.

Charles called in and set up his audition, where he read a script for a Twizzlers commercial.

It looks like it all worked out for him!
