Asher Angel Explains What He Learned From 'Andi Mack' Ending

Asher Angel may be totally bummed about Andi Mack wrapping up after season three, but the show’s ending taught him an important lesson.

The 16-year-old actor recently explained that the show’s cancellation made him realize he can never take anything for granted.

“Shooting the show for three years, you think it lasts for ever but it actually can go by like that [*snaps finger*] and then you’re left auditioning again and you have nothing,” Asher said during an appearance on the Zach Sang Show.

He continued, “I was fortunate enough to run into this movie [Shazam!] which is even more insane for me because I idolized DC growing up, and to be a part of this franchise is absolutely incredible. So for me, [the lesson would be] never take things for granted because life’s short…work hard 24/7 always.”
