Dove Cameron Shares a Moody Quote on Instagram

Dove Cameron is sending a message about her mental health.

The 23-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a selfie and a quote from Edgar Allen Poe’s classic The Tell-Tale Heart on Tuesday (May 21).

“True, nervous, very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am, but why will say that I am mad?! The disease had sharpened my senses, not destroyed, not dulled them. Above all was the sense of hearing acute. -poe,” Dove captioned the selfie, which she appeared to take in her bathroom mirror after getting out of the shower.

Dove also showed off her Wednesday Addams phone case in the mirror selfie.

The Descendants star has been opening up more and more about her mental health on social media lately, and sharing her experiences with fans.
