DWTS Juniors Champ & Skateboarder Sky Brown Could Be One Of The Youngest Ever Olympians

Sky Brown has already won a starry trophy on Dancing With The Stars Juniors on its’ inaugural season last fall, now, she’s aiming for the Olympics.

The 10-year-old skateboarder was recently named to the British skateboard team, in hopes that they’ll reach the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

If that happens, Sky will be 12 – and officially be the second youngest Olympian ever. The youngest to date is Cecilia Colledge, a figure skater who was only 11 when she competed in the 1932 Winter Olympics.

“Hopefully, I can go to Tokyo because I want to go there while I am young and to show every girl that you can do everything,” Sky shared in a recent interview. “It doesn’t matter about your age. You can just go for it even though you are little.”

As for the Olympics, Sky is super confident.

“I am super excited about skating and surfing finally becoming an Olympic sport,” she shared. “It makes me really happy to know that I’m inspiring people. It’s just really cool to see more girls skating.”
