Ally Brooke's 'Low Key' Almost Wasn't Her First Single

The 25-year-old singer rocked a lilac colored outfit while promoting her new music in the Big Apple.

Speaking with Harper’s Bazaar recently, Ally revealed that her debut single, “Low Key”, almost wasn’t a single at all!

“We actually had another song picked out as my single. We were about 80 percent sure of it. But we had constant revisions on the lyrics and it was never quite there,” Ally revealed. “Deep inside, I knew, I just felt that something else was out there.”

She goes on to explain that her manager called her up about “Low Key” and after hearing it, she was “just blown away and I felt like, ‘Wow, this is the one.’ It was such a moment for me because I had been recording almost every day for months, trying to find that right song, trying to find my first single. And the fans have been patient. A lot of people have been patient.”
