Cameron Boyce's Family Releases New Statement, Confirms a Report in the Media

A new statement has been released by Cameron Boyce‘s family to confirm a story that has been reported this week in the media.

The 20-year-old Disney Channel star passed away this weekend after suffering a seizure and now the family has confirmed the ongoing medical condition that led to the seizure.

“Cameron’s tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was Epilepsy,” a spokesperson for the Boyce family told ABC News on Tuesday night (July 9).

“We are still trying to navigate our way through this extremely heart wrenching time, and continue to ask for privacy so that the family, and all who knew and loved him can grieve his loss and make arrangements for his funeral–which in and of itself, is agonizing,” the family added.
