Austin Butler To Star As Elvis in Upcoming Biopic Opposite Tom Hanks

Austin Butler is Elvis!

The 27-year-old Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor has won the role of the King of Rock N’ Roll, according to Variety.

Austin reportedly beat out Harry Styles, Ansel Elgort, and Miles Teller for the part.

The movie centers on the relationship between the Presley’s manager, Col. Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), and the young singer, who came from dirt-poor origins to become an iconic star who changed the course of music.

The flick is set to start shooting at the start of next year.
