The Final Moments of 'Descendants 3' Were Completely Unscripted

The touching ending of Descendants 3 was all thanks to an idea from the “core four” – Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Sofia Carson and Booboo Stewart.

According to Sofia, the final moments of the film to conclude the series were unscripted.

“There’s a scene that the four of us actually wrote into the movie. We had this idea of after the finale ends, we would walk back out onto Auradon Plaza and we look out across the bridge onto the Isle of the Lost and we reminisce on what these last four year have been,” Sofia explained.

She continued, “And we would say something that kind of concluded our story. We’re in that moment realizing how transforming this whole experience has been and how we will cherish it for the rest of our lives.”
