Ally Brooke Wants To Show Haters She Can Dance on 'Dancing With The Stars'

Ally Brooke and Lauren Alaina attend the Dancing With The Stars cast reveal event held at Planet Hollywood Times Square on Wednesday (August 21) in New York City.

The 26-year-old and the 24-year-old singers were just announced as part of the celebrity contestants on the dancing show!

During the cast reveal on Good Morning America, Ally opened up about wanting to prove haters wrong that said she couldn’t dance while in Fifth Harmony.

“I was in Fifth Harmony, and there was a lot of dancing,” she said. “Sometimes I feel like some of the dance moves were a little harder, and some people would leave some not so nice comments, and it wouldn’t feel good. This is an opportunity for me to not only prove to them, but to myself that I can really tackle this.”

“I want to be able to help those people who’ve felt like that too. Anything that they may feel they are insecure about or they feel uncomfortable with, that they can go and they can do it,” Ally continued.
