Disneyland Confirms Marvel-Themed Land 'Avengers Campus'

Disney just confirmed that a Marvel-themed land is coming to Disneyland!

The park’s Disney California Adventure will welcome “Avengers Campus” in the summer of 2020, according to an announcement during D23 Expo.

The new area of the theme park will be home to attractions based on Marvel movies and comics.

“Avengers Campus” will take over a portion of A Bug’s Land, which was based on the 1998 movie A Bug’s Life and closed in September of last year.

“We’re building an immersive superhero-themed land at Disney California Adventure to enable our guests to join the Avengers to save the world,” Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, said at the event (via People).

Disney also confirmed that “Avengers Campus” will expand into Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland.
