Mykal-Michelle Harris is about to become your fave new TV character!
In new series Mixed-ish, the seven-year-old actress stars as Santamonica Johnson, the younger sister of Rainbow “Bow” Johnson, who grows up to be a reality star.
The premiere episode focuses on a young Rainbow Johnson and recounts her experience growing up in a mixed-race family in the ’80s. Their experiences illuminate the challenges of finding one’s own identity when the rest of the world can’t decide where you belong.
In flagship series, black-ish, Santamonica is played by Rashida Jones.
