Selena Gomez Wrote 'Lose You To Love Me' Over A Year Ago!

Selena Gomez wears a cute pink striped dress for her appearance at The SiriusXM Hollywood Studios on Wednesday afternoon (October 23) in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old singer has been all over promoting her two new singles, “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now”.

In another recent interview, Selena opened up about writing “Lose You to Love Me” about a year before it was released.

“It’s like I feel completely different from when I wrote it so it’s such an interesting feeling…it’s also more beautiful for me because I know exactly where I was when I wrote it and how I felt,” she shared.

Selena continued that she couldn’t have released the song when it was first written: “That wouldn’t happened. It took me a long time to get through it but now it’s fine. I’m smiling. I feel great.”

“These two songs were me wrapping up a chapter in a pretty little bow,” she adds. “And the rest of the album is just all about where I am now and where I’m going so in my opinion, these are great songs, but I’ve saved the best for later.”
