Lauren Donzis Joins NBC's 'Punky Brewster' Series In Major Role

Lauren Donzis just booked a brand new role!

The 15-year-old actress, who you might recognize from No Good Nick or Liv and Maddie, will be starring in NBC’s Punky Brewster, which will air on Peacock, the streaming service.

According to Deadline, Lauren is set to play Hannah, Punky’s fashion-forward teenage daughter, who often feels like she’s the parent and Punky’s the kid.

The upcoming series is a continuation from the 1980s series about a bright young girl raised by a foster dad, Punky (Soleil Moon Frye) is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy (Quinn Copeland), a young girl who reminds her a lot of her younger self.

Oliver De Los Santos and Noah Cottrell will also star in the series as Punky’s adopted sons, Daniel and Diego.
