Lucy Hale Dishes About Living In New York For 'Katy Keene'

Lucy Hale is finally living, and working, in New York and is opening up all about it!

The 30-year-old actress is filming her new show Katy Keene in the Big Apple, a first for her career.

“For the first time in my 15 year career, I’m working in New York. That is something I’ve manifested for a really long time. I really wanted to see it come to fruition,” Lucy spilled to Access Hollywood. “I’m loving it! I’ve lived in LA for 15 years, I’m from Tennessee, so this is a much different vibe. I think it’s toughening me up a little bit. I smile at people on the street and they’re like, ‘Why? What’s wrong with this girl?’ I definitely still have my southern hospitality that still comes out.”

“Filming in New York is like a whole different thing, because we’re actually on the streets of New York with a lot of people,” she continued. “It’s fun, it keeps things real, and we get to showcase New York City, which is one of the best cities in the world, in my opinion. The fact that we actually get to shoot here, which doesn’t always happen. I feel really grateful.”
