Camila Mendes Teases What's to Come For Veronica When 'Riverdale' Returns

Camila Mendes is giving fans some little hints about what’s ahead on Riverdale, when the series returns next week…at least for Veronica Lodge.

Speaking with People, the 25-year-old actress dished that there’s “a lot coming” for Veronica.

“There’s gonna be some news about somebody in the Lodge family that is going to be very heartbreaking and difficult, and kind of throw Veronica a curveball,” she adds. “There’s gonna be some news coming Veronica’s way that’s going to shake her world.”

If you missed it, Camila‘s co-stars KJ Apa and Cole Sprouse both opened up about what they thought was ahead for the Archie gang.

Riverdale is back on Wednesday, January 22nd on The CW.
