Billie Eilish Makes Grammys History By Sweeping the Four Top Categories
Billie Eilish has made history as the youngest person, and the first woman, to win awards in all four top categories at the Grammys!
The 18-year-old singer took home the awards for Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year on Sunday (January 26) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles
The only other time an artist has won all the awards in one night was when “Sailing” singer Christopher Cross did so in 1981. Adele is the only other artist who has all four awards, though she didn’t win them all on the same night.
When Billie accepted the final one, Record of the Year, she and her brother Finneas had just two words for their fourth acceptance speech in a row: “Thank you.”
Billie won five awards overall at the event. She also took home Best Pop Vocal Album.
