Kendall Jenner Was Verified on TikTok, But It Wasn't Really Her

Kendall Jenner‘s fans were probably so excited when they saw that a verified account showed up for her on TikTok, but sadly even the social media app was duped because it wasn’t her.

The account was up for less than 12 hours before TikTok realized the error.

“Within hours of verifying an account claiming to be Kendall Jenner, an internal review raised questions about the account’s authenticity, and TikTok immediately removed it,” a TikTok spokesperson told CNN.

TikTok is still a rising platform compared to ones that are more established like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat.

“The verified badge is a quick and clear way to let you know you are following the real deal, rather than a fake or fan account,” the TikTok website says.

We’ll just have to wait and see if Kendall joins TikTok!
