Bailee Madison Reveals What Made Her Nervous While Filming 'A Week Away'

Bailee Madison is about sing and dance in front of the camera for the first time!

The 20-year-old actress recently opened up about the “nerve-wracking” experience while filming her upcoming musical A Week Away.

“Anything is nerve-wracking when you want to do the best job that you can do. Obviously I’ve never been in front of the camera dancing or singing before. There were nerves but there was way more excitement because it had been on my bucket list for years, to show this side of me and I was just thrilled and honored,” Bailee told J-14.

She added, “I was like, ‘Alright, let’s give it all. Give it whatever I’ve got and see what happens.’ I was so fulfilled, it was so great.”

A Week Away centers follows a troubled teenager whose recent run-in with the law puts him at an important crossroads; go to juvenile hall or attend a Christian summer camp. At first a fish-out-of-water, he eventually opens his heart and discovers a love and sense of belonging in the last place he expected to find it.

Bailee, who is also an associate producer, stars alongside Kevin Quinn, Sherri Shepherd and David Koechner. Watch a sneak peek of the film here!
