Miley Cyrus shows off a brand-new tattoo!
The “Wrecking Ball” crooner revealed her fresh ink on Instagram on Monday (March 2).
“‘Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin,” she captioned the black-and-white video below, referencing Leonard Cohen’s “Dance Me to the End of Love.” “Dance me through the panic till I’m gathered safely in. / Touch me with your naked hand or touch me with your glove. / Dance me to the end of love.’ Matisse X Cohen.”
The arm tattoo features the silhouette of a woman’s body wearing no clothes.
The tattoo artist, Nico Bassill, also posted about the tattoo, quoting Henri Matisse, the artist behind Leonard’s book “Dance Me to the End of Love.”
Nico wrote, “‘An artist must never be a prisoner. Prisoner? An artist should never be a prisoner of himself, prisoner of style, prisoner of reputation, prisoner of success, etc.’ – Henri Matisse. … thanks again @mileycyrus done at my private studio @amongthewillows.”
