KJ Apa Reveals the Hardest Words to Say in an American Accent

KJ Apa has a hard time saying some words in an American accent – and he has to use them on Riverdale all the time!

The 22-year-old actor spilled on why New Zealanders are so good at accents and what doesn’t come as easily.

“I think that’s because we’re constantly bombarded with American content over there when you grow up. All TV is American, music, radio. So I think it’s easier for us to learn than [Americans] to do a New Zealand accent,” KJ explained.

He added, “The hardest ones for me have always been burger and girlfriend and I have to say it a lot on Riverdale.”
