Stephanie Poetri Shares How She Made Her Own 'Straight To You' Music Video

Stephanie Poetri recently released her “Straight To You” music video!

The rising Indonesian American singer, songwriter and producer shared with JJJ about how the video came to be, and how she made it herself.

“Originally I was going to put out my song ‘Straight To You’ without a music video, but I decided to make a quick video for a snippet of the song. I’ve been consumed by art again recently due to quarantine, so I’ve been drawing for fun!” Stephanie told us.

“Then I got way too into the process and ended up making a whole video for the song, and decided to put it out as the music video for ‘Straight To You’,” she added.

Stephanie then told JJJ that she actually already knew a lot about graphic design.

“In high school I took a visual arts class, focusing on digital art and graphic design. I thought that I might as well use the knowledge I already had to create something for my song,” she said. “I also learned how to edit videos back when I was making YouTube videos during my gap year after I graduated high school.”
