Ariana Grande Encouraged Voters to Stay In Line, Sent Food Trucks to Kentucky Polling Location

Ariana Grande made sure voters had food and drinks while waiting in line on Tuesday (June 23) in Louisville, Kent.

The 26-year-old pop star sent coffee and food trucks to the Kentucky Exposition Center, the only polling location open in Jefferson County.

“sent some food and coffee trucks for everyone waiting in line ! please pull up, enjoy and use your voice today we need u 🖤 @kyexpocenter,” she wrote on Twitter. She also reposted some photos on her Instagram story.

If you didn’t know, Jefferson County is where Louisville resides in Kentucky, and it’s also the city where Breonna Taylor lived, and was sadly killed.

It was recently revealed that the Expo Center would be the only open location in the area, which has the state’s largest black population. Many celebs called out the local government for voter suppression.

Ariana has been very vocal for years about making sure people get out and vote, especially young people. She even had HeadCount.Org out on her Sweetener Tour to ensure fans were registered to vote.
