'The Magic School Bus' To Get Live Action Movie, Elizabeth Banks Set To Star

Elizabeth Banks is bringing Ms Frizzle to life!

The actress, producer and director will be starring as the teacher in a live action The Magic School Bus movie, reports THR.

The new film is based on the popular book series that “follows intrepid Ms. Frizzle and her class, who set out on field trips in their yellow school bus that magically transforms into a plane, submarine, spaceship, or surfboard, depending on the science concept being explored in class.”

Elizabeth and her husband Max Handleman will also serve as producers on the film through their company Brownstone.
