'DC's Stargirl' Gets Renewed For Season 2 by The CW!

DC’s Stargirl is making a big move!

It was just announced that the newest DC Comics show, starring Brec Bassinger, has been picked up for a second season by The CW.

In addition to the news, the show will now be airing on the network first, and not on the DC Universe’s streaming platform, THR reports.

For season one, DC’s Stargirl episodes would premiere on the DC Comics service, then air the next day on The CW. Now, the show will have it’s permanent home on The CW, where it will premiere new episodes on TV, and stream on The CW app the next day.

Season one of DC’s Stargirl will also be available to stream on HBO Max after the season finale airs.

The newest superhero show joins the growing list of DC shows on The CW, including Superman & Lois, Supergirl, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, Batwoman, and the possible Arrow spinoff Green Arrow & The Canaries.

DC’s Stargirl also stars Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Trae Romano, Jake Austin Walker, Hunter Sansone, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson and Christopher James Baker.
